Through talks, leaflets, booklets, field trips and other activities, which are open to the public as well as members, to explore the history of Central Wales.
To remember annually the death of Llywelyn ap Gruffyd, the last welsh Prince of Wales, on 11th December 1282 by holding a Service in the Abbey ruins led by a Religious Leader. The Annual Lecture will be given afterwards.(cf Events)
To organize the long distance Pilgrimage from the Strata Florida Abbey to Abbey Cwmhir, 25 miles across the wild country of mid Wales, annually in July and other walks in December (cf Walks).
The Abbey Trust takes an active part in research work to do with the architectural history of the Abbey, its archaeology and its place in the national heritage of Wales.
